| NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that pursuant to Section 175 of the Town Law of the State of New York, as amended, the annual election of officers of THE GOLDEN’S BRIDGE FIRE DISTRICT will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Increase Miller Elementary School, Route 138, Golden’s Bridge, New York. The polls will be open from Six o’clock (6:00 p.m.) in the evening until Nine o’clock (9:00 p.m.) in the evening, for the purpose of casting ballots. The officers to be elected are: One (1) Fire Commissioner for a term of Five (5) years commencing January 1, 2016, and ending on December 31, 2020. Candidates for Fire District Office must file certificates of nomination at least twenty (20) days prior to the date of the annual Fire District election; such filing shall be with the Secretary of the Board of Fire Commissioners. Said certificates must be submitted in petition form subscribed to by twenty-five (25) qualified voters of the Town of Lewisboro, Town of Somers, Town of North Salem, in Westchester County, New York AND who shall have resided in the GOLDEN’S BRIDGE FIRE DISTRICT for a period of thirty (30) days next preceding the annual election of such fire district officers.
